The same question should be asked...Should queer actors play straight roles? I just finished up a TV series staring Matt Bomer...a gay man playing a straight character and did a fabulous job of it.

Let's not forget Tom Hanks and Antonio Banderas in Philadelphia, Robin Williams in The Birdcage, Natasha Lyonne in Orange is the New Black, Patrick Swayze, Wesley Snipes and John Leguizamo in To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar...and so many others.

I think sometimes, there are actors who are born to roles, regardless of sexuality.
