Simple answer...because they're so well written and animated. I love adult animation (that not meant for under 18s) as well as many from my childhood. I often go back to old favorites if I can't find something else to watch. Adult animation often draws on current topics while at the same time, engaging with our more playful side. I'll frequently eat my morning cereal while watching American Dad or Family Guy or any number of favorites, from Bob's Burgers to Lower Decks.

Toy Story is a wonderful series of animated films that would easily translate into a TV series. And it would go right up to the top of my must watch list.

PS...the original TS is *the best*. Originals are always the best IMO.
