Sadly, there are a lot of us out there.

The key is not letting disability negate our ability. When my uncle became blind after a car accident, he moped around for a while, then taught himself a new skill and was quite good at it.

Even when we're homebound, these days, there's always something we can do. We just need to find the right employer or become self-employed. We need to find our purpose, or resurrect it.
