Just found your article. Thanks for posting. I'm nearly 5 years post hemorrhagic stroke and still 'not right' though I'm fully functioning to some degree. My right side was heavily affected by lasting pain in joints with injuries long forgotten but new again. At least working as a writer, my job is mainly sitting at the computer, but that's not healthy either. What choice is there when every movement is painful? It's a challenging balancing act. But what else can we do but do our best and keep our chins up. My thought is, it could have been worse. It could be worse.
I hope whatever you're going through eases for you and you have found a new and positive path forward.
