I've seen this movie a couple times but until now, never put it in a political context. Thanks for presenting that theory.

The Mist was certainly an engaging movie, and with a cast of plausible characters, even if the plot was otherworldly. Tom Jane always does such a wonderful job in the roles he takes. I'm surprised he's not cast in larger films.
