I've been writing since I was old enough to hold a pen and I've never used or even seen most of these punctuations. Even before the advent of home computers These days, two stand out as almost everyday use...the pilcrow and hashtag, aka octothorpe. The pilcrow comes in very handy while I'm editing, as it allows me to see where I need to make corrections in the 'hidden' part of Word's documents. And today, everything has a hashtag association (#buymybooks) ;-) Sadly, the rest are fading quickly from normal use, IMO, because of computers and the less frequently used editing on paper. Fun article though.
