I was born and raised on the Central Coast and spent hours and hours between Big Sur and San Francisco. I was home last from mid Feb through mid April, and the weather was amazing. Seeing your ride video made me very homesick. Thanks!

I completely get where you're coming from, biking the California coast. I've always been a bike passenger but have the same stirrings as you when out with the wind in your hair. There's almost nothing like lifting the visor and feeling the wind whooshing all around and making your face tingle, especially when the waves are high and salt is in the air. I once had a convertible that was rarely up. Coastal drives were incredible. So much I miss not living on the Central Coast anymore, but in a way, I appreciate it much more than when I was home full time. Thanks for the memories.
