I don't get agitated by much, but this term bothers me. For decades, there have been established story lengths, and not one of them is called a mini book, or even mini story. These are the established word counts...
Flash fiction: 6 > 800–1000 words
Short story: 800–1000 > 8,000–10,000 words
Novelette: 8,000–10,000 > 20,000 words
Novella: 20,000 > 45,000 words
Novel: 45,000 > 90,000 words
Super Novel: 90,000–110,000 words
Epic Novel: 110,000+ words
The term 'mini book' was established about a decade+ ago that indicates mini or tiny books...in size.
