Erotica and erotic romance are two subgenres in romance. Erotica is strictly a sex story...little story, lots of sex, even gratuitous and with multiple partners.

Erotic romance is romance with more sex. It's defined as a monogamous relationship and how the two character's relationship develops. Sex cannot be gratuitous but must enhance the story, and the story must end in a HEA with the couple being together in the end.
