Clint still owns that iconic poncho and wears it on occasion, such as the 100th anniversary of the founding of Camel-by-the-Sea (my hometown) where he's lived most of his adult life (Play Misty For Me)...

While the Spaghetti Westerns are often criticized for one reason or another, one fact not many know is that Clint taught himself Italian so he could converse with not only the director and people on the set, but also because he was living in the country during the filming of each film and wanted to blend in. He still speak the language when Italian fans stop him for an autograph, which he always gladly gives. Anyone who criticizes the film having been dubbed would have been correct.
Clint is a practical guy when it comes to filming in non-English-speaking contries. He always tries to learn a little of the language so he can converse on set and give directorial instructions to the cast.
Clint is a sentimental guy and has a fondness for many of his films, particularly the westerns. He owns a hotel where some of those props are used as decorations in some of the rooms, and his homes are filled with his most favorite pieces. No doubt, including that first costume he bought on his way to Italy to make A Fistful of Dollars.
