A couple summers ago, we had a pretty little leucistic sparrow in our garden. He/she was around for a couple years, despite experts in the local bird club saying it wouldn't last into adulthood because it would be easy prey. He/she was almost white when it first appeared but after a couple years, it looked like a dirty snowball. We were sad when it stopped coming.

There were reports from around the country of people seeing leucistic corvids, and even a deer.
